Amalia Aalsvel Keidar talks about her Delfts Blue art.

Amalia Aalsvel-Keidar is gaining considerable renown in the world of ceramic art as an artist specializing in the traditional and as yet highly-prized Delft Blue underglaze technique.

Her particular focus is on larger-scale objects such as ceramic tiles and wall panels which, besides having greater visual impact, provide a considerable degree of creative freedom.

  • Mar. 2001: One-person exhibition Hod-Hasharon, Israel.
  • Aug. 2001: Diploma of Honor for winning a Prize following participation at 1st World Ceramic Biennale 2001, Republic of Korea.
  • Aug. 2001: Permanent framed Wall Painting at Incheon City Hall Museum, Korea. One piece of Art at Ichon World Ceramic Center in Yonggi Province, Korea.
  • Oct. 2001: One-person exhibition at the I.C.C. the International Convention Center "Binyanee Ha-ooma", Jerusalem until October 2002.
  • Nov. 2001: One-person exhibition, Hiroo, Tokyo, Japan until January 2002.
